...but its nice. Somehow things are simpler, easier to follow. It'll take some time to get used to, but I know its for the best.
...Aaaanyways...I seem to have been inactive in the uploading section...I can explain! sort of...
Well, first, School. ._. School has been...school. 12 page report in a week....keeled meeee.
Spring has since then hit, but it has been coming in bad ways. One day super hot, the next cold...a few hot days, a few cold days...its killing all the flowers that hit in spring. So far only wildflowers have been serving, which is nice...but I don't have time to stop and take a picture of things...I have a few pics from around the yard, but nothing really notable since they already look dead...at the beginning of spring. *sigh*
I hope summer brings beautiful things.

...because it snowed.
anyone that has seen old photos of mine would understand why I love snow.
There are many pictures to go through.
On three different camera (had to use moms once when the battery on my dslr died...lol also used my old small digital when i went to get the mail since I did not want to carry my dslrl)
So YEAH.

In other news...
How was everyone Christmas?
It didn't feel like Christmas the days leading out to it because I only just got out of school the friday before, and I received all my presents early, (The new DSLR, new phone, hoodies, boots, and a bunch of other stuff) and was not expecting anything else.
I was wrong.
I kind of woke up when mom woke up to check the ham, and I could smell it. I felt something land on my feet, and got mad. (I don't like things on my feet excluding shoes, socks, blankets, etc.) Mom finally tuns on the light and says merry christmas.
I check the clock, it is 4:30 AM! I notice a box on my bed, and open it...
She got me a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2! She also got a case with a keybored that I had kept telling her that I would want if I were to get a tablet. At the time, since I was seriously still tired, I'm sure my excitement did not go though to her. lol
Me: Why didn't you wait a few more hours to wake me up?
Mom: Because I couldn't wait any longer.
lol...
Anyways! Did anyone get anything nice for christmas? Had some amazing food? We had the most amazing, sweet ham EVER!

Dumbly, I only remembered that I had my close up lenses after posting the last journal, so I managed to get a few interesting shots, including a Daddy Longlegs, and an acorn in the grass that looks like a head (lol)[I MIGHT post that one, its pretty nice, but still thinking about it.]
School was only a half day due to Thanksgiving coming up! Happy Early Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it!

I'm having the hardest time with close ups, and I still have yet to figure out how to use my macro extension tubes without the camera giving me a 'no lens detected' error. (~.~) On a slightly more positive now, I can now take picture of the moon now, which makes me happy beyond belief. Also, outside lights turn green on me. lol (fav.me/d5ljpjv)
Had a litter more progress while coming inside and turning on the lights and playing with effects and settings. (fav.me/d5ljm30)
This is definitely turning into my progress journal from the camera...Wish me luck!

So...my new Nikon D5100 came in the mail today, and I've got to say from just playing around with it today, I AM LOVING IT!
Maybe its because I'm coming from an old regular digital camera, but I am in love with manually being able to focus. I got an extra lens along with the one that came with it, and got a nice kit. Mom went all out and got me a tri-pod, filters, cleaning kit, and even a camera bag. I AM IN HEAVEN!
Anyways, first good picture from the camera. Keep in mind that I had the camera for only 10 minutes when I took it, so its nothing special lol
